Nestled
amongst bushlands in Eastern Victoria, the Australian Wildlife
Art Galleries have been a popular tourist destination for
over 20 years. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and native
wildlife, the artwork truly reflects the natural feel of
the location.
These
and other local surroundings have been the inspiration for
Dawn and Chris Stubbs, helping their work to become widely
recognised within Australia and around the globe.
The
gallery features work by Dawn and Chris Stubbs, their daughters
Kelly (a gold and silversmith) and Crystal (a hot-glass
sculptor), and other local artists including paintings by
Lois Brown and Charles McCubbin.
The
latest addition to the gallery is the 'Crystal Stubbs Glass
Studio'. The Second daughter of Dawn and Chris Stubbs, Crystal
is at the forefront of the new wave of young talented emerging
Australian artists. She was represented at the SOFA exhibition
(Sculpture Objects & Functional Art) in Chicago in 2005,
where she achieved a high number of sales from American
collectors, who recognised her potential to be another world
renowned Australian glass artist.
